“Got It Already?” app — last updated: 15 July 2026
“Got It Already?” is built on privacy by design. Taking photos and recognising your items happen entirely on your phone. Your photos and recognition data are never sent to any server — not to us, not to anyone else.

They disappear when you delete them or uninstall the app.
Only if you consent, the app measures anonymous usage statistics via Aptabase (hosted in the European Union). Consent is off by default and can be withdrawn at any time in the settings.
These statistics are anonymous by design: no account, no name, no photo, no recognised text, no advertising identifier, no precise location. Only aggregated events (a scan happened, type of result, processing time, operating system) to understand usage and improve reliability.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
If you make a purchase, the transaction is handled by the store (Google Play or the App Store) and by our provider RevenueCat, which manages validation and restoration of your purchases, solely to unlock and maintain your premium access. We never see your payment card details: they are handled exclusively by the store.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
| Provider | Role | Data | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aptabase | Anonymous statistics (if consented) | Anonymous events | European Union |
| RevenueCat | Purchase management | Purchase ID and status | United States |
| Google Play / Apple | Payment processing | Transaction | International |
Any transfers outside the European Union are covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time: contact@yann-sainty.com.
As the statistics are anonymous, they cannot be linked to you: we may be unable to identify them in order to act on a request concerning them. You can turn this measurement off at any time in the settings.
You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).
The app is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data about them.
Your collection data stays on your device. The few pieces of data that are transmitted (anonymous statistics, purchases) travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
This policy may be updated; the date appears at the top of the page and significant changes will be signalled in the app.
